Each year the Fox Chapel Area Schools Sports Hall of Fame celebrates the year's Induction Class with  a banquet, usually held in late May or early June.  In 2017, the banquet will be held on June 2, 2018

Banquet:

Held at the Harmar House on Freeport Rd, the Annual HOF Banquet will feature a cash bar during a Silent Auction (always need donations--see below) at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM.  The induction ceremony and scholarship announcements begin immediately after dinner.  A banquet reservation form will be uploaded soon.

Donations and Support:

The banquet is much of an opportunity for fundraising as it is for celebration.  Proceeds from the banquet's silent auction and banquet program underwrite the Hall of Fame's goals.  To support our mission, please do consider creating a dedication or advertising in our Banquet Program.  A form for these will be uploaded soon.  Any questions can be directed towards the Banquet Program Chair, Jim Perry.

Side Note--Golf Outing

We were unable to hold a golf outing in Spring 2016 and 2017 and have no plans to hold one for 2018.  But if you are interested in directing a FC HOF golf outing in the future, please read below for details about our last outing.

The last golf outing was held on May 30, 2015 at the Links at Spring Church. This golf outing provided a fellowship opportunity to honor our district athletes while raising funds to support the Hall of Fame and its mission. 

Participation consisted of golfers, sponsors and/or prize donors. First, the chairperson recruited sponsors for tees and holes.  For $100, the sponsor's name was listed on the hole and on the banquet program.  Second, the chairperson recruited prizes for the event.  Third, and most importantly, the chairperson attracted  golfers for the day.  A  payment of $100 per person included 18 holes of golf, drinks on the course, lunch, and a lot of fun.
